Upon doing research for 104 exam question i stumbled upon the wikipedia page for acjc and this is what it said under sporting achievements.
"ACJC are traditional powerhouses in rugby, swimming, water polo, badminton, golf, billiards, netball, air rifle and track & field.
Prior to 1998, the ACJC cross-country team was still part of the track & field team without a separate identity. However, ever since it became an independent CCA and had its own streamlined training program and coaching staff, the ACJC cross-country team has enjoyed tremendous success, most importantly in the national schools championships.
The greatest achievement thus far was undoubtedly the back-to-back hat-trick of national inter-schools team gold from 2001, 2002 and 2003 for the boys’ team. The girls’ team landed the championship in 1999, and has constantly emerged among the top 3 teams ever since. Even though the races have since been shifted from MacRitchie Reservoir to Sentosa and now finally to the Old Turf Club, the ACJC cross-country team continues to excel. In 2002 and 2003, the boys' team swept back-to-back individual champions. Their latest win in the national inter-school cross-country championships is in 2006. Yet another notable achievement was in 2001, when the top 3 runners of the inter-schools national track & field championships 800m event came from the ACJC x-country team."
And that's all there was under sporting achievements.
im quite amused cuz its obvious that an ex-crossie added the last 2 paragraphs, making it seem like unequal representation of our sports scene. But hey, alumnus of the other ccas could always have their say too.haha i think it's someone from the '01 batch cuz there was even a photo of the 2001 guys team next to the write up with the caption "The victorious x-country team".haha
i miss running..its been 3 weeks!and i dont even have proper runnning shoes anymore since my new balance ones died during sports camp. i want my asics GT-2110!
argh.104 in a couple of hours!

Treasure of Jesus
(Steven Curtis Chapman)
What can I do
How can I live
To show my world
The treasure of Jesus
What will it take
What could I give
So they can know
The treasure He is
If I can sing
Let my songs be full of His Glory
If I can speak
Let my words be full of His Grace
If I should live or die
Let me be found pursuing this prize
The One that alone satisfies
The Treasure of Jesus

bah. stoopid blogger just deleted a post i had typed halfway.
YAY.2 down 3 more to go. 101 was...ahh lets just say it couldve been better!Talk about expectation violation theory!haha. Some of the questions were quite unexpected.i mean where did communication complexity model come from?!!Hardly anyone knew what tt was la. i attempted that question but conveniently chose to ignore that part heh.
thank God that i survived the 2 most gruelling papers.:)its really by his grace and strength..esp for 102:) Surviving on 3 hours of sleep and still be wide awake for the ppr:) Even though im usually effectively functional at night, the successive late nights were taking its toll on me. Its really by his strength that i had the energy to endure two more late nights:) Was also asking God for wisdom as to how to study within the limited time. Somehow, he led me to the sections to focus on,some of which came out during the paper.God is faithful:)
Friday and sat were spent catching up with old friends, and being the aunt agony for some. its like somehow, everyone chose to have problems on the same day or smth. Friday night's study session was so not productive, but had a good time catching up with a friend whom i havent talked to properly in ages:) i dont know how things ended up the way it did, but i shall choose not to overanalyse it for now:)
oook.wayy too much time gone to waste. i need to wake up my idea and go studyy!haha. 3 more to go. I CANT WAIT FOR WED 7PM!
